J. E. Hoke Slaughter
Hoke Slaughter is a managing director at Morgan Stanley and head of the firm’s real estate investment business in Asia, part of Morgan Stanley Investment Management. Previously, he served as chairman of the firm’s real estate investment banking group and as vice chairman of the firm’s investment banking division. Mr. Slaughter has also worked for Gerald D. Hines Interests and for the architect Michael Graves. He has extensive experience in most major markets around the world and has worked in a principal and advisory capacity throughout his career. Mr. Slaughter is a member of the National Association of Real Estate Investment Trusts, the Real Estate Roundtable, and the Urban Land Institute, where he is a member of the executive committee of the New York district council. He holds an AB in architecture from Princeton University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
